While the tools online seem to be getting better and better, Myspace, Twitter and MSNBC have new comptition hitting the web. FOX News Chicago has developed a free online tool called LiveNewsCameras.com.

There are over 110 live streaming video channels from different affiliates from all over the world. The affiliates include CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX.

The streaming video features shots of Sky News, the Pentagon, Chicago city Lights and even Catalina Island.

“User stay updated through a Twitter feed and by live moderators that are based out of cities such as Chicago, Milwaukee and Los Angeles” said American Press Institute.

The website also offer 24 hour breaking news for certain cities, like Las Vegas and is represent by Fox affiliate KVVU. Other features include RRS feeds and blogs.

This website is designed to be useful for TV and radio journalist tracking stories world wide or in other cities. It will also be beneficial during breaking news.
